Wheel sections were freighted in from NC. Hubs were welded on the main axle

In the morning the mason crew was still working on the walls.

We started to assemble the wheel in the early afternoon.

Wheel was Completed before the sun went down

Raceway still to be added to structure at a later date.

Just another view. This building is actually the water pump house next to the main clubhouse.

Finished it will look like a grist mill building.
